Who We Are and What We Do

Harrow Care Plus (Formerly Harrow Christmas Care) has volunteers supporting the vulnerable, isolated and lonely elderly besides supporting vulnerable families in crises (living in short term accommodation) due to separation, domestic violence, illness, calamities like sudden death of spouse, accidents and emergency and those who may need immediate practical support in Harrow. Lonely and isolated elders can be invited to events such as drop in centres or elder’s groups to reduce isolation.

We use our expertise to get the resources to the needy by providing food/comfort packs to elders and families in crises. We will connect them to more stable services for long term sustained support.

Anyone can refer elders or families in crises to us via email/phone. We will deal with your inquiry within 48 hours. We will signpost where we are unable to provide support to complex issues. We do not deal with benefits, housing, medical or legal matters. In crises we will ensure an essential pack is made available.
